Top Tier Las Vegas continues to make its mark — and now the 2029 class is getting its turn in the spotlight.
One day after five Top Tier players landed inside the updated Prep Baseball Nevada Class of 2028 rankings, two more names from the program debuted in the initial Class of 2029 Nevada rankings released today: Blake Bedard and Santiago Fargo.
Bedard checks in at No. 23 overall in the state and No. 7 among third basemen, while Fargo slots in at No. 28 overall and No. 4 among outfielders. For a freshman class still in its early stages of development, having two players open inside the Top 30 is a strong statement — and both earned it.
Blake Bedard (No. 23, No. 7 3B)
Bedard has been one of the most noticeable upward movers in the program over the past several months, and his performance at the recent Prep Baseball Preseason ID only reinforced that trajectory.
Prep Baseball West Coast Supervisor Brett Harrison summed it up best following the event:
“Bedard is a 2029 that continues to impress each time out with us. His advanced feel for the barrel with projected power to be added to his already impressive offensive metrics. The Top Tier Las Vegas product improved in a number of offensive categories, including TrackMan Exit Velocity at 97.9 mph, as well as an 88.4 mph Average Exit Velocity. Now standing at 6-0/182.8 and growing, the freshman is only scratching the surface of what’s to come over the next few years.”

The numbers back that up.
Bedard posted personal bests across the board: 97.9 mph max exit velocity, 88.4 mph average exit velocity, 22.1 mph hand speed, 71 mph bat speed, 21 mph rotational acceleration, and 81 mph across the infield. Those gains aren’t random — they reflect improved sequencing, added strength, and more efficient movement patterns since the fall.
Physically, Bedard has undergone one of the most noticeable transformations within the program in a short window. Now standing at 6-foot and nearly 183 pounds as a freshman, he’s added strength without sacrificing mobility. The advanced feel for the barrel is already present. As his approach continues to mature and the power continues to tick up, the long-term ceiling climbs with it.
Santiago Fargo (No. 28, No. 4 OF)
Fargo’s debut at No. 28 overall and No. 4 among outfielders comes after a strong showing at the same Preseason ID event.
The freshman ran a 7.10 60-yard dash and posted a 91.9 mph max exit velocity at the plate. His swing metrics were equally encouraging, with 20.1 mph hand speed and 67.7 mph bat speed. Defensively, he was clocked at 80 mph across the infield and 79 mph from the outfield — highlighting the versatility that makes him such an intriguing long-term piece.
A multi-position player on the 16U Americans, Fargo has spent time in center field and is expected to see reps up the middle in the infield during this summer’s showcase circuit. He swings aggressively with present raw power, and as the swing continues to refine and the approach tightens, that power projects to become a true impact tool.

A Strong 48-Hour Stretch for the Program
The 2029 rankings drop comes on the heels of yesterday’s Class of 2028 update, which saw five Top Tier Las Vegas players earn recognition.
Left-handed pitcher Ty Kincaid held steady at No. 10 overall and remains the No. 1 ranked left-hander in the class. First baseman CJ Nelson debuted at No. 46 overall and No. 2 at his position. Catcher Dylan Foote landed at No. 38 overall. Jojo Luna checked in at No. 56, and right-hander Jack Carpenter rounded out the group at No. 62.
That kind of back-to-back representation — five in 2028 and now two more in 2029 — speaks to the depth of development across multiple age groups.
And the story likely isn’t finished.
Both Ethan Gonzales and Chris “Trey” Webb III were named to Prep Baseball’s Freshman 50 watch list this fall. If their current development trajectories continue, it wouldn’t be surprising to see both names join the official 2029 rankings at some point in 2026.

For Top Tier Las Vegas, the rankings aren’t the goal — they’re a byproduct. Measurable growth. Consistent development. Physical progression. The national recognition is simply reflecting what’s already happening inside the program.
And with this 2029 group just getting started, there’s plenty more runway ahead.
